Our interview with Brendan Thwaites about working with Jeff Bridges and Meryl Streep for the film adaptation of The Giver, originally done when the film was first released in 2014. It was adapted by Bridges from the dystopian novel by author Lois Lowry. Jeff’s father, Lloyd (Sea Hunt) wanted to make this film 20 years earlier with Jeff in Brendan’s role about the young man chosen to receive the archive of memories about pain, war and emotion from their past society, instead of the utopian emotionless, pain and chaotic-free society now present. Thwaites talks about making the film working with the two iconic acting legends.
