Emmy Award winning documentary Writer/Director Andrew Goldberg shows that the dog whistle of White Fear in place since before Richard Nixon has raised its ugly head big time now in the Trump administration. Using extensive interviews with today’s players on both sides of the issue, politically and in the media to stoke fears of White Victimization.

Goldberg interviewed everyone from Hillary Clinton, Steve Bannon, House Rep. Jamie Raskin, former politicians, authors, professors well as anchors and reporters from both sides of the political divide, including MSNBC’s Eddie Glaude, CNN’s Brian Stelter, and Former Fox Anchor/Correspondent Cameron, Carl Cameron, even comedian, Aasif Mandvi. The list is exhausting. Goldberg presents enough material to show how racial bigotry is being weaponized to undermine democracy. The movie posits that instead of opening opportunities for all people in this diverse country, those in power are using it to win elections and profit White people.

Watch for our video of the Q & A with Goldberg after screening the film in Chicago.

There is interview after interview to make important points about how politics have been used to demonize immigrants, spread Islamophobia, and stoke racism in so many ways. Our only criticism is that he goes back to the same sources with similar points several times over the course of the film.

Goldberg’s credentials are beyond reproach. But we wanted an inkling of what or who could stop exacerbating the racial divisions and white victimization of a country on the brink of authoritarianism. Hoping the people who need to see this film, see it.

In select theaters and VOD   1 hour 26 minutes.  Documentary
